Official dismisses Lewandowsk and says Barcelona can pay R $ 56.5 mn per Fernando Torres

Fernando Torres not living the best phase of his career, but follows with great prestige in the European market. At least according to the Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo. The publication said on Wednesday that Barcelona ruled hiring Polish Lewandoski and now studies pay 20 million (R $ 56.5 mi) to Chelsea to have the Spanish striker.

The price is less than half that Chelsea paid to Liverpool in January 2011 to hire Torres. On occasion, the Blues have disbursed 58 million (R $ 164 mi). The Spaniard has a contract until June 2016 and not think of leaving, but also never yielded the expected with the blue shirt.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the biggest problem for hiring Torres would be the high salary he receives. Barcelona, however, was convinced that it would need a good 9 shirt to reduce dependence on Messi. The striker, however, also need to agree to be on the bench for a few games.

Lewandowski would have been discarded because of the 'Auction' scheduled to graduate to get it out of Dortmund. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid came in strong contention for polish.
